Overview

A basic presentation on what is different about government contracts, introduction to set-asides, how to start if you are interested in bidding on government contracts, government contract types, introduction to teaming and subcontractors, where to find more information.

By the end of the class, you should be able to identify risks and benefits associated with government contracting, know how to register and find opportunities, be able to identify types of government contracts with their associated risks and benefits, how to find teaming partners, and where to go for more information.


There are no pre-requisites and no previous knowledge assumed.  Although this is a basic course, more advanced questions and concepts can be introduced as time permits.  Estimated 90 minutes.  Contact Instructor for special needs.  Handicapped parking access available.
